4K FTIR Multi-touch LCD Prototype

A first attempt to build an FTIR-based multi-touch table out of an LCD display (this was back in 2008!). I took apart a 30 inch Dell LCD display to separate the backlight from the LCD and all the electronics (while trying not to break it). It took much experimentation with the camera settings, different IR light sources and the acrylic layer treatment in order to get an acceptable touch signal that could be reliably detected.
